I'm all good. All set with my Master Plan Plus to move into a new place this Thursday. All set up to be able to keep floating while I look for a new job, which is the only gamble, but I think that 9 weeks to find a job that pays well enough to pay the rent is not out of my reach.

I have to move out of my current living place in a week and a day.

I need to contact my brother Walter to see if he's willing to become a co-signer for an apartment place I have a chance to move into. If he's willing to to that, as well as lend me a little bit of cash, then I'll have time to try to get a new job to be able to sustain myself and live on.

If these conditions are not met, or if I'm unable to get a hold of my brother in time, I shall have to move back home.

...home... I don't want to move back. Not if I can help it.

All in all, I still have a master plan (I'm not gonna say all of it, because that would tip off Fate to what the fickle mistress can mess up next ). It's just that my hand is being forced a round early. I know the cards in my hand, and I eagerly show my cards. But since I'm only playing against the dealer, I have yet to see if I can win this or not. The dealer is giving me FIVE minutes.

I'll tell you the exciting conclusion to all this after a few episodes

Ok, here's my day.

I make sure I went to bed last night at a reasonable time to drop off some job applications I picked up on Friday as well as looking for more to pick up to pass back in tomorrow or the day after. Was kept up by Men In Black because I haven't seen it in forever. So instead of going to bed at 11-ish, I think, it was... like... 2-ish, since I wasn't sleepy enough to pass out when I wanted to.

So I wake up later than I wanted to. THEN snoozed hardcore, so I wake up at, like... 1:45. Crap. So much for an early start.

Going through my luggage, I find out that I don't have my work boots on me (they look a lot more professional than my sneakers, since my pants cover up the upper half of them) and -both- pairs of work pants that I still have both have holes in the crotches because I never really get to fix them while traveling. Crap. Good thing I have black boxers... though I'm not gonna wear my boxers for a whole week just so my crotch looks nice.

So I take a quick shower, losing more hair while shampooing because of stress, got dressed as nice as I can while still being semi-casual (I can't help being at least semi-casual with sneakers >>, and I get going. Wind messed up my hair all hardcore. Crap.

So the first thing I do is make copies of my resume and letter of recommendation that my last boss typed out for me (bless her heart). 10 black and white copies, 10 color copies because the mentioned letter has colored logos on it that I didn't want to mess up. Extra money... that were spent at a FedEx/Kinkos... I felt dirty going there to print out the UPS logos in color...

After all is said and done, though, I only managed to visit two places and hand back one application with a resume and letter. My left foot is on fire with pain, I'm hungry because I didn't think to actually pick up something from Subways on the way back, and I won't even be able to try to finish any of this tomorrow like I had planned, and it's for the most crazy reason ever.

I have a job tomorrow at 8:30. I won't have time to apply anywhere else with that in the way. Fuck yes.
